You can't hide that everyone has their favorite fairy tales that they could watch until the end of childhood. I remember very well that, as a young child, I constantly watched the Smurfs and Gumissi that my father recorded on home video. Some of the tapes were already so badly damaged that they could hardly be played, but I eagerly watched my favorite episodes that I never got bored with. At the moment, I do not know how this could be possible, how one fairy tale can so much attract a child's attention, but at the time I had no right to think about such cases. It is also worth mentioning that children raised in the 1990s did not usually have the opportunity to watch too many fairy tales. The supply of several channels, to which most had access, was not very saturated, with the passage of time the channels on which fairy tales had been flying for hours began to be promoted, but not all could afford the luxury. For this reason, the Saturday and Sunday tales that appeared on public television raised a lot of hope. At the time, you could watch slightly cooler cartoons than the ones shown daily, and so, for example, you would have to wait a whole week to finally see your favorite Jetsons or Flintstone. Nowadays, children no longer know the taste of expectation, because even if they do not have access to fairy-tale channels, they will find virtually anything on CDs or on a computer, Sand performances. It allows them to watch whatever they want when they want, sometimes they underestimate the opportunity. And we also have to remember that our parents were mostly brought up just before bedtime, which was dominated by Polish productions such as Svirek and Muhomorek or Bolek and Lolek. These tales, while perhaps not in terms of graphics and appearance, did not grow up to fairy tales from the west, they certainly carried content that the children liked very much, were informative, but at the same time were able to entertain. It is a pity that the fairy tales of Western producers prevail in our country, because, of course, Polish artists also have something to convey to children.

Is there really a contradiction that requires a choice between individualism and tradition?

Aren't they both connected by the organic law of development, and can individualism - this delicate cultural flower - grow out of that fruitful and saturated humus called tradition?

In art, in addition to the demotic, generally accessible language that everyone uses, there is another, hidden language - the language of symbols, images, which in essence constitutes the true language of art regardless of the subdivisions of art into speech, into plastic.
